BULLDOGS AGREEMENT
A JULY meeting between President Neale Klein and two
officials of the Western Bulldogs focused on the
management agreement between the two clubs and its
implications beyond 2012. After lengthy discussion it
was mutually agreed that the agreement-had
`run its race'. Consequently, the management of BMGC is
currently in transition mode and working towards the
re-establishment of self management .
MANAGER
OUR manager, Ziggy, recently tendered his
resignation. We thank Ziggy for his work and
wish him well in his future endeavors'.
Until a new manager is appointed, management
responsibilities will be shared among
current senior staff. The Committee of
Management asks members for their patience
and support during this period of
transition.
-
ELECTION OF OFFICE BEARERS
- A NEW Committee of
Management will be elected at
the Annual Meeting on August 30.
- Members are invited to
consider nominating for a
position. As well as official
committee positions, vacancies
will exist on Greens and Match
committees. Please see a
committee member if you are
willing to contribute in any
capacity.
- As the time approaches for
the induction of a new
committee, all members are asked
to remember:
-
·
That a club can only
function efficiently if a
competent committee of
volunteers is prepared to
take on these positions of
responsibility. No committee
= No club.
-
·
If you are unable to take up
a position yourself,
providing general support to
the club and its committee
members is much appreciated.
-
·
Committee members are
golfers too and are entitled
to enjoy their game. If you
would like to raise as issue
or a complaint with an
office bearer, please DO NOT
do it just as they are about
to tee off. Wait until after
the game or phone them on
another day. Contact details
are provided
in the syllabus.
